畢業(yè)于南京大學(xué)生物學(xué)系,獲理學(xué)學(xué)士和碩士學(xué)位,1994年赴日本留學(xué),2000年獲日本東京大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)系研究科分子細(xì)胞生物學(xué)博士學(xué)位,同年為日本學(xué)術(shù)振興會(huì)外國(guó)人特別研究員,2001年起,在美國(guó)加州大學(xué)舊金山分校(UCSF)作博士后,20048月起受聘為東南大學(xué)教授。主要研究神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)發(fā)育缺陷而致相關(guān)神經(jīng)精神疾病的發(fā)生機(jī)制。曾獲國(guó)家杰出青年科學(xué)基金資助,作為首席科學(xué)家和首席專(zhuān)家主持國(guó)家重點(diǎn)基礎(chǔ)研究計(jì)劃(973)以及863項(xiàng)目。研究工作同時(shí)受到國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金面上及重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目支持。曾入選首批江蘇省“333工程中青年科技領(lǐng)軍人才,江蘇省特聘教授;獲江蘇省有突出貢獻(xiàn)中青年專(zhuān)家稱(chēng)號(hào);2009年入選新世紀(jì)百千萬(wàn)人才工程國(guó)家級(jí)人選;享受?chē)?guó)務(wù)院特殊津貼?,F(xiàn)任中國(guó)神經(jīng)科學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)理事、江蘇省發(fā)育生物學(xué)會(huì)副理事長(zhǎng)、江蘇省解剖學(xué)會(huì)副理事長(zhǎng)等。

研究方向:端腦發(fā)育的調(diào)控與相關(guān)神經(jīng)精神疾病的病理機(jī)制

海馬、新皮層是行使腦高級(jí)功能如學(xué)習(xí)記憶、情感的重要功能區(qū)域,多種認(rèn)知和情感障礙均與早期海馬以及新皮層神經(jīng)環(huán)路的發(fā)育異常密切相關(guān),但其發(fā)生發(fā)展機(jī)制尚不明了。本課題組主要利用基因工程小鼠,通過(guò)基因敲除、轉(zhuǎn)基因等手段揭示海馬和新皮層神經(jīng)環(huán)路發(fā)育過(guò)程中神經(jīng)干細(xì)胞的分化、神經(jīng)元遷移和成熟的調(diào)控機(jī)制,探討環(huán)路中興奮性神經(jīng)元與抑制性中間神經(jīng)元二者之間的平衡維持機(jī)制,旨在為深入理解腦高級(jí)功能的神經(jīng)生物學(xué)基礎(chǔ)及其相關(guān)疾病的發(fā)生機(jī)制提供線索。
